About NetPulse
NetPulse is a lightweight tool for checking the real-world performance of your internet connection. Each test opens several parallel streams to the closest measurement node and records the sustained download and upload throughput, the round-trip latency, and the variation between samples (jitter).
For the most accurate reading, close bandwidth-heavy apps, connect over a wired link where possible, and run the test a couple of times. Results naturally vary with network load, time of day and the route between you and the node.
- Download & upload — sustained throughput in megabits per second.
- Ping — how quickly the node responds, in milliseconds.
- Jitter — consistency of latency across samples.
Privacy
NetPulse keeps your last results in your browser only — they never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time. We do not run trackers or advertising profiles. Measurement traffic is used solely to estimate throughput and latency for the test you start.
